Yes — some of our services occasionally offer short-term or one-off opportunities, depending on local needs. Keep an eye on our current opportunities or get in touch to express interest.

Most volunteer roles require a National Police Check. If you’re working directly with or around children or young people, you’ll also need a Working With Children Check. Some roles may involve additional screening — this will be outlined in the position description.

In most cases, yes. We’ll arrange a phone call or face-to-face chat so we can learn more about you — and make sure the role is a good fit for you and the team you’ll be supporting.

Some roles require training before you start, while others offer support on the job. Every volunteer has a local contact and is supported by our National Volunteering Team to ensure your experience is rewarding and well supported.
