Is this right for me?
- You’re 14 or older (but not yet at Age Pension age).
- You have a disability, injury, or health condition that affects your ability to work.
- You’ve been assessed with a future work capacity of 0 to 30 hours per week (there’s no minimum required).
- You’re finishing Year 12 or looking for work.
- You’re an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold an eligible visa.
- You’re unemployed, working below your capacity, or at risk of losing your job.

Yes. Our Work Assist program supports people whose employment is at risk because of illness, injury, or disability.
Inclusive Employment Australia replaced the Disability Employment Services program on 1 November 2025.This new service offers the same commitment to helping people with disability, injury, or health conditions find and keep meaningful work—plus enhanced support and a more personalised approach.
No. If you were already receiving support through DES, your Employment Adviser will continue working with you under IEA. You’ll still have access to the same services, plus additional options for training and workplace support.
